What are you looking for, homie?

A David Foster Wallace Teaching Syllabus

Fellow blogger @ À La Sophia put this online a few years ago, a few days after DFW died. She followed his Literary Interpretations class in 2005 and posted the syllabus as her own way to keep his memory alive. I'm not going to post every page, I'm going instead to invite you to click and go to her blog, but let's just say it's an invigorating read.

Objectively speaking, I'm looking at doing this job someday. I have all the qualifications for and this syllabus reconcile me with the idea that you can show some creativity in the formatted academic approach. And it's through Academia that you gain the power to change things and leave your mark on young intellects.
