What are you looking for, homie?

The ManArchy Papers

Last September, the National Hockey League was having a lockout and it made me a very frustrated Canadian person. But being also a strangely positive and result-oriented person, I found a temporary solution and rekindled my old love with the NBA. See, I played competitively for about four years in high school and have quite some love for the sport in itself.

But you know me. If I find a new subject to nerdout about, it's unlikely I'll let it go. The NHL came back and here I am, still following the New York Knicks and the Orlando Magic with a both competitive and cultural interest. Before I knew it, I needed an outlet for all my theories about player management and on-court zen.

Enter Manarchy Magazine and its witty, talented and beautiful editor, Mrs. Pela Via *. God bless her, she actually likes my stuff and allows it for publication. I have written four basketball columns for ManArchy and plan to gather momentum to write on a more regular basis. It's a beautiful sport, especially seen through the eyes of a pop culture maniac.

Here is the entirety of my contribution for now. Expect my publication page to get split in two pages soon, because I will invest myself more in non-fiction in a foreseeable future. I need a bulkier resume if I want a paying gig someday.

* By the way, how cool is this, that the editor for MANArchy is actually a woman? Makes us give our A game each time.
