Dead End Follies Review Policy : The Return
The moment you creative types have all been waiting for has arrived. I’ve worked on this review policy for a couple weeks now and rewrote them a lot in order to make them as clear as possible. I can’t make it any simpler than bullet points, can I? I’m warning you: these rules are pretty fucking strict because I don’t want my mailbox to overflow with desperate weirdoes again. If you do your homework, it might be the beginning of a beautiful new business relationship.
Here’s how it’s going to work.
Books
Genres accepted:
- Mystery
- Horror
Read before submitting:
- Submissions via email only. No more quick drop-ins via social media.
- Don’t send me files right away. Pitch me your book and I’ll request a file/copy if I’m interested.
- Submissions are reviewed once a week. Only the projects that I deem interesting for the site are contacted. I don’t have the time or energy for good manners, but I wish you luck anyway.
- I do NOT guarantee a site review if accepted, but I’ll drop a word on Goodreads and Amazon.
- For the love of everything beautiful, do your homework and browse a couple reviews before sending me your pitch. If you don’t give a shit about what kind of site this is, I won’t give a shit about your book.

- No short films
