What are you looking for, homie?

Christmas Blackout

It's Christmas next Saturday. For the first time in three years, I have a complete week of vacation for the occasion. I'm very excited about that, but as you probably understand by now, it means Dead End Follies will go very quiet for the last week of the year. Maybe it's a mistake because I'm having the best month in the history of the blog right now, but I figure out nobody will be on the internet during Christmas week anyway. I like to blog, but what I like better is to spend quality time with family and friends.

I'm leaving Friday evening after work for the countryside, with Josie, Scarlett and a fat Jonathan Franzen book I've been keeping for the occasion and I will be back in town, resuming my blogging duties on January 2nd. I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful year we spent together. You've been close to 60 000 people to stop by here in 2011. It's a lot of people and I expect even more of you in 2012. But for the moment, step away from your computer and go call somebody you care about.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
