I didn’t have this on my bingo card for 2026, but there's someone on the internet pretending to be me and offering authors "partnership briefs", which is corporate lingo for paid reviews. Needless to say, I don't do that. I have never done that and I'm not planning to start. Dead End Follies has always been a place of personal expression and I will always fiercely defend my prerogative to choose what I feature on the site. If you paid this person for a review YOU WILL NOT BE FEATURED ON DEAD END FOLLIES.

If he or she contacts you, please report phishing using gmail’s built-in function. I have no idea why would anyone think it’s a lucrative fraud to impersonate me on the internet, but they are investing a lot of time in something that should technically not wield a lot of results.
